  1. Hey we just bought a 2008 Edge and the brakes are making all kinds of bad noise. They clunk and grind. The dealer says the rotors are rusty and so they turned them and we still have the same problem. Did it fix your problem?
  2. Wanted to add my problem. I know the thread has been dead for a while. I just bought my wife a used 2008 Edge. If the car sits over night and then started it ticks until it warms up. It's not injectors and it does not idle rough or have a light on. It sounds exactly like a lifter noise. It's at the Ford dealer now being checked. The first guy that looked at it put up red flags saying it didn't right so they had another mechanic look at it and they said it was just injectors. They said they called in the heavy line mechanic to listen to the car while I'm there. I'm going to see the car tomorrow morning. I hope this isn't the beginning of a headache.
  3. baum have you ever heard anything about this one? I'm not looking at it because it's cheaper but because it looks a little more like the stock unit. I like things to match.
  4. Great and thank you for your reply. It's for my wife and basic is all we are after. I'm glad we didn't buy a factory nav. The only part we really want is the blue tooth but also the nav does fill in a very bland space. That's why we don't just buy a radio only with blue tooth. Thanks again for your help it is much appreciated.
  5. We just bought a used 2008 Edge for my wife. What I want to know is if I buy a factory Nav unit off Ebay does it come with blue tooth? I heard that you have to pay for that option to work with the factory nav unit??? If so why would you have to pay for a internal function of the nav unit? Is there a better nav/radio unit around $500 that is plug and play that is any good and will have blue tooth? Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.
