That post was my original inspiration for my project! I was able to obtain some mirror and door handles in the orange color so now I want to paint the visor and bumpers. I also read somewhere that this sometimes does not come out well on the pre-2011 models. Is this true? I heard the best place to have the painting done is through the ford dealership.

I would like to purchase the painted mirror housings, but I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I have read related posts, but I am not interested in putting chrome all over my car!

Hey guys, I have a Ford Edge SE in blazing copper from 2008 that has the ugly black mirrors, door handles, and roof over the rear window! What are my options for painting/replacing these? I would love to have a body shop paint them, but I don't know if they can paint over the rough material.
