The delay on the ipod was probably just sync indexing the songs. I took mine back to the dealer and they fixed it said it was a wiring problem but didnt elaborate. Either way, it works now.

try this as a test - lock the door.... open the car with the physical key (if you have IA, it slides out of the fob). Sit in the car. It should tell you to insert the key in the ignition or the alarm will go off in about ten secs. that way they know if the door opens without the transmitter, that you do actually have the key. source: the owners manual

Hi everyone, I just (yesterday, 03/06) bought a 2011 Edge Limited AWD. Today, I was playing with all the settings and found out that none of my inputs (both USBs, and the a/v in) do anything. The USBs actually won't even charge my phone using a USB charger, and ipods are not recognized. I tried to update SYNC after i downloaded the update to my flash drive, and it doesnt pick that up either. And when I have an AV cable plugged into either just an audio source or an A/V source, the system does not recognize it. I am taking it back to the dealer tomorrow but was wondering if anyone has ran across this before? It almost seems to me like the media hub is physically unplugged; but maybe it is defective or a software issue. By the way, I do not have nav, and I didn't try an SD card, so I'm not sure if that one works or not, but both USBs and the AV ins def do not work. Thanks for any help. Sorry if this has already been discussed somewhere, I searched and didn't find anything on it.
