Ok...went to the dealership Friday, and they reprogrammed the remote start and the daytime running lights - at no charge. So, I'm good to go. Thank you for all your input. I appreciate your taking the time out to respond. For those who are curious...the dealer was Marshall Ford, in O'Fallon, Missouri.

That's ok. I appreciate your trying to help. I'm going to the dealership for an appointment on Friday to have them reprogram it...and to turn on my DRL's. I'll let you know if they were able to fix it. They say they can.

I've attached a picture of it for you. I didn't see any other buttons on it.

Yes, mine is the one-button dealer-installed RMST. The odd part is, is that what looks to be the override button is at the very bottom of the instrument panel, below the steering wheel, and it's actually a very small box with a dark blue button in the middle and it has a blue LED, which I noticed comes on when the car is off and the doors locked. The button looks nothing like I've seen, with a long wire and a bulbous end with a black button on it.

Ok, I tried the steps, exactly as described. Close doors, hold brake pedal down, turn ignition to run, press the override button for at least 20 seconds...nothing. Any ideas?

Thank you for posting. I was wondering how you exit the programming mode? Do you just open the doors and it exits the programming mode? Thanks again!
