I just got my new ford 2011 edge sport, and I have been having this problem everytime I drive. I keep hearing a ticking noise from the driver's side interior body, as if one part of the interior is a bit loose, near the driver's gas paddle. Everytime I hold it with my foot, it stops. When I looked down near the driver's gas and brake paddles, I was able to look into all the wiring and steel work, there is no cover for it. Should it be like this? I am assuming a part of the interior covering is missing and thus the interior makes this ticking noise.
