  1. Unfortunately it seems that most of the search results are either actually more expensive than the ET4Z-19G490-A variant or non-OE copies of dubious quality and compatibility.
  2. So, the backup camera in the wife's '11 Edge SEL in Mediterranean Blue Metallic has been transmitting video of a demogorgon straight from The Upside Down and I'd like her to be able to see reality once again. Might prevent her from running over errant children and cute puppies since she's an otherwise excellent driver. Normally for things like this I get OEM Ford/Motorcraft parts since my experience as a computer tech/sysadmin is that eBay Special™ off-brand electronics don't always work the way you want them to. For my '16 Mustang GT/CS I have the proper Ford OEM FR3Z-19G490-A on its way to me, but that was only $58.99 from American Muscle. The cheapest I seem to be able to find the ET4Z-19G490-A from a source I trust is $220. Why the disparity!? Anyway, there does seem to be a replacement module from Master Tailgaters for $110 that somehow seems to be well-regarded... in Amazon reviews. We all know that Amazon reviews are about as trustworthy as a kid with a mouthful of chocolate mumbling "I didn't eat your Hershey bar!". Amazon link with the referral stuff removed (because referral stuff is annoying and dumb): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CMW7PW2K So, is that actually good? Is it trash? Are there options that are better but also affordable? I have a full license for ForScan and the necessary connectivity, so throw anything you got at me, as long as it's affordable. 😅
  3. So, what were the standby colors?
  4. What are these standby colors? My Edge was manufactured after the earthquake in Japan and so were most of the others on the lot, and they were all the colors listed in the brochure, which was printed WAY prior to the earthquake in Japan.
  5. So, what made Ford change the manual to take out the "if equipped" verbiage? Without those two words there, one would think that they have something. That wording was in the first printing of the manual.
  6. Yeah, my sticker doesn't say that I have HD Radio. I was just wondering if maybe I did since the manual seems to infer that it's standard when previous printings used to state "if equipped".
  7. In reading the MyFord Touch/MyLincoln Touch Supplement, one would gather that Ford is putting HD Radio in any car that gets the MFT system, especially considering that they seem to have changed the manual to remove any reference to the possibility of it not being equipped in your vehicle, according to this thread right here on the forums. I actually have a third printing manual. http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?/topic/5627-owners-guide-v1-vs-v2/ So... Why can't I figure out how to get the HD radio actually working? Do I not actually have it? It's not a big deal if I don't, as I have Sirius and actually listen to my iPod 99% of the time anyway, but I'd like to give it a whirl if I do have it.
  8. I just got myself a Mediterranean Blue Metallic '11 Edge SEL. We actually saw one at one dealer and then when we went to actually do the deal, MBM is actually the color we were hoping we could get.
