  1. I could not resist and opened the steering column to reach the switch. Did the modification to switch and its butter smooth now....
  2. I have the same problem on my 2013 Lincoln MKX, can hardly hardly use the turn signals without flashing the lights at the same time. Mentioned it twice to the dealer and each time they tell me there is nothing wrong. I am glad I to read here that there is a solution... but I rather buy a new switch than modifying the current one.
  3. Same here, on our 2010 Edge Limited (which I sold recently), I had this creaking noise coming from the b-pillar at ear hight, I identified it coming from the rubber seal that rubs against the body. Like Iraia said, cleaning and a thin layer of silicon was the solution; solves it for 6 months to a year! My wife's new 2013 MKX is sofar silent, but as soon I hear a creak; I have the silicon spray ready!
  4. I had a test drive in a 2011 Edge Limited, and did not notice any issues in seating position; Im 6'3ft / 300lbs. But I did end up buying one of the last 2010 Edge Limited they had in stock here in the UAE; definetly it "feels" more spacious than the 2011.
  5. We are really happy with the 2010 Ford Edge Limited in Toxedo Black. Love the interior and comfort. The Vista roof is just excellent! The only remark I have is that all Ford SUV's should come with a standard back-up camera; we really miss that on our Edge..... My 2010 Mustang GT has it, why can the Edge not have it in the Mirror? I read all other posts.... some people really seem to suffer with their car, but maybe its also expectations..... It takes a while to iron out all eletronic issues in any new designed car. BMW needed several years to get the I drive system working properly, still, there are issues in this complex system. Mercedes, same story; even Lexus has issues in their initial releases. That is why I opted for a 2010 Ford Edge Limited, just to avoid the execpted issues with the new complex electronics in the 2011. I do not see this as a failure from Ford, its normal in the car industry. In a year or so, its all ironed out, and the system will work well. Unfortunately this is the nature of the computer / electronics in the industry..... Ewald
