It was a returned lease from May of this year, so it was on the lot for a couple of months. Anyway, called Ford roadside assistance, they towed it to the dealer this morning, still under full coverage. My neighbor and the tow guy both said the battery looks shot. Shame on me I guess for not asking to have it checked before driving it off the lot. I'm just going to demand that they replace it. Anything else I should have them check that may have been affected?

I've been riding my new(er) car high for the last week and a half, until this morning when I try to leave for work and my 08 Edge with 24k miles (that doesn't even have permanent plates yet) fails to start. I've been looking around this forum and others looking for solutions. I charged the battery, switched keys, tried locking/unlocking in case I tripped the anti-theft system...nothing. The interior/dash lights are a bit wonky...a few times everything comes on, other times they fade in and out. When I turn the key all the way, I just get a clicking sound. The battery terminal does have a good amount of corosion. Any ideas? I'd like to avoid having to tow it in for service already. I'm also worried that they won't find any error codes, and I only have 2 months left on the full warranty.
