Nevermind. I went to vehicle registration, and, although they didn't have the edge in their chart, they looked up another ford edge someone had registered. I was able to pick up the long plates. Hopefully, I will be able to pick up my edge tonight or tomorrow.

Hello everyone, I have a question (especially for those in europe). I'm picking up my edge in Mannheim today or tomorrow. I'm in Stuttgart. I don't know what size plates I need from vehicle registration. From the pictures I've found of the edge, it looks like I can use euro plates. I'd prefer to have the long plates so I don't stand out (as much) as an american. Does anyone know if the euro plates will fit on the edge?

I get mine in a few days. I can't wait to see how she does on the autobahn. 110 mph is about what I normally drive on open stretches. Does speed-limiter shut off the engine for a second, or does it just stop accelerating? What are the RPM's? How hard is it to drive through the construction zones?
