I also had the same erkkking noise on brand new 2011 Edge Ltd. when making right turns. Now have 1000 mis. on it and took it in to the shop last week. After I took a mechanic for a ride, it was fixed quickly. I was told they tweaked the distance between the paper thin heat shield and a transmission mount bolt.
