The dealership called me and said that a piece of insulation in the fuel tank fell down and hit the fuel pump assembly, which knocked the sensor off, which is why the gauge no longer works. The solution: the car needs a whole new fuel tank and pump assembly. Pretty crazy since the car only had 200 miles on it and has never done anything but city driving. The dealership I took it to was surprised too and told me that this was the first ford edge that they've had in for anything but an oilchange.

In my edge, the two vents right next to the radio have chrome trim around them, but the outside ones closest to the doors are just painted silver. Does anyone have chrome trim on all of the vents? Just want to know if they exist so that I can order them if they are available. thanks!

I just bought my edge two days ago and after only 240 miles, the fuel gauge crapped out. It suddenly said I was low on fuel so I gassed up since I didn't know how far the edge should be able to go on a tank. It only took 11 gallons to fill it up and even after filling up, it still said low fuel and the needle sat at empty. Anyone else have this happen? BTW, anyone know if they make air vents that have the chrome trim on the far left and far right air vents? My two center vents have a chrome trim on them and the other two are painted silver and it bugs the piss out of me.
