Hey thanks for your reply! I could go the duct tape route. But, I rather disassemble the cup tray and plastic panel. This is the reason I am posting to see if anyone could guide me in the right direction. I was hoping that someone had some info on the disassemble, before I destroy the whole thing. Thanks

Hi, I have an 08' Edge that I am looking to remove the rear middle seat headrest. I understand that it is not mean't to come off. But, I need it off. Putting down the cup tray isn't an option for me. I need to remove the headrest and then secure it back on some how. I was wondering if anyone has attempted to do this. The reason I am trying to get this done is that so I can install a baby mirror on the middle seat. The straps for the mirror are suppose to run under the headrest. So, if I can get this headrest off, strap in the mirror, then replace the headrest, It would be accomplished. Anyone, have any advice on how I should tackle this project? Does anyone know exactly how the headrest is attached? Thanks
