  1. I bought the dual beam: http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00NQSAJDG?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00 perfect place to install, easily made brackets and stiffened up the installation by blocking the top of the light bar to the steel within that area.
  2. I just installed mine over the weekend, total cost of install including parts was approx. $180CAD. I didn't want a light bar sticking out so I installed under the plate, as I don't have a transmission cooler (if some do).

Please excuse the winter tires and rims, they are needed where I live. Have the chromes, all cleaned up and sitting in the basement.
  4. Thank you all for your responses, I spoke to a Ford Mechanic at anothe rlocation and they believe it should be covered so wish me luck And the shroud price I got was 180, I was blown away!! For a plastic shroud!
  5. Please people, I feel like I got screwed by the dealer
  6. or if someone can point me in the direction of a website that has pictures of the undercarriage
  7. I have a 2011 Edge limited with 55000KMs (34k miles), I brought it in to the dealership today because the wrench light came on, and they told me a wire had corroded because I am missing a shroad (plastic cover) underneath the driver`s side (runs from drivers seat along to back seat) but I can`t find any pictures of said shroud online. If anyone can snap a picture of their undercarriage where that shroud starts and ends I would be in your debt. Thank you so much!!!
  8. This might be a stupid question but will you still have high and low beams if you upgrade to HID?
  9. Yes we did buy it from the Barrie location I actually live 600km north of Thunder Bay, so our total trip was about 2300 km to buy this vehicle. We tried dealing with the local dealerships (3 within 500kms) and all of them wouldn't go anywhere near the price of what we got this little guy for. After we bought it we spent an hour at the dealership going over things (paid the hourly rate) and I was very frustrated with the lack of knowledge they had with the system don't forget where we live doesn't have the turn overs that the bigger dealerships have, and I believe they really only train one tech per area of a car. Anyways I agree it would have been easier had we bought it from the dealership however the price difference was in the 8000 range. I will give the owners manual a look over, thanks for the responses guys. Cheers
  10. So what your saying is stop being a cheap Canuck and go buy a car starter.... I was hoping there was a way my mykey. Thanks for the reply :D
  11. Let me apologize in advance as I am sure this question has been asked but I can't figure out how to word it for search. When I get out of the Edge (2011 limited awd) the fan automatically turns down. Is there a way so that when I start it stays on max fan and heat?? (I am from Canada and we have been getting alot of snow and cold, and its frustrating starting the car and going out and having to do it all manually. Also can the seats auto turn on the heat?? Thank you in advance to anyone who can help me and/or takes the time to read this. Cheers. P.S Today is a day of remembrance, as this 1 day a year we all remember, but please strive to never forget. Thank you to all Military personal and their families, the 100 000+ canadian soldiers that have died, and to all our brothers in arms THANK YOU. REMEMBER IF YOU DON'T STAND BEHIND OUR TROOPS, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO STAND IN FRONT OF THEM

  14. I don't notice any difference in the feel of my screen from the sides to the middle, make sure you contact ford with all you concerns or worries, I find it best to send an e mail to the service manager before calling, this way if they say it is fine, but it happens to get worst and worst as your warranty is running out you can prove it was an existing problem prior to expiration. Note I haven't had any problems with for at all with warranty I am just cautious from my last vehicle (not a ford) Cheers and enjoy your new ride, I love ours.
