Yea, it has been going for about 3-4 weeks now. Shows it at all hours of the day, even after sitting locked for 8-10 hours. I can get a disk in (though it wont auto-load or eject it) so I am pretty sure there is nothing else in there. I might try to disassemble it but it will be a pain to open up the slot load.

So this is my first post here. Hey all. So here is my issue, my battery constantly dies even after replacing it a few times. I think I finally fixed the major corrosion issue I had but still have a dying battery. Here is the fun part, the in dash keeps flashing "loading CD" even when there is no CD in the slot and the car is turned off and locked from the outside. It flashes it about once every 10 seconds. I am fairly sure this is killing my battery each night. The son shoved a penny in a while back so I pulled the stereo and it was just rattling around in the metal enclosure, not in the slot itself. It is a standard CD player, not the six disc. So two questions, 1. Anyone had a similar issue and know how to fix/reset the stereo? 2. It the stereo is DOA, does anyone know where I can get a replacement (or preferably individual parts)?
