  1. I bought the Edge because I like it's looks and versatility. I traded in my 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII for a 2007 Edge and it was the best thing I could have done for myself. I'm retired and I do alot of golfing. With the Edge I can transport 5 golfers with bags to local golf courses. No way could I do that with the Lincoln. Many people have commented on the good looks and versatillty of the Edge, especially when they see five golfers pile out of it. Two of my golfing buddies have the 2005 Lexsus 330 and haved remarked that they could have saved thousands if they waited for the Edge to come out. They drove my Edge and I have driven their 330's and between you and me there ain't alot of differance except window sticker. So if there are any golfers reading this post and you haven't made up your mind on vehicle yet, I suggest you strongly take a look a the Edge. PS It's faster and just as quiet as my buddies 330's.
  2. So as I see it, we have a rare classic. In 30 years when our Lite Sage metallic First Year Edge goes to Barrett/ Jackson it should be worth big bucks. If I live that long. Lets see I'll be 92 years old.
  3. I told my wife that when I first saw it in the sun light it looked kind of metallic tan but today it's overcast and it looks grey. If you park next to a grey car it doesn't look grey at all. Edgeinator-- Have you seen the 2008 silver vapor color on the Edge. Is it the same color as the 2007 Sage?
  4. Im the proud owner of a Light Sage Edge and I really like this vehicle. When friends, who have not seen the Edge, ask me what color is it ? I say well it's hard to say maybe greyish, whiteish, metalic with a little green I think. Don't get me wrong I love this color, but it is very hard to describe to people who have not seen it. The other Edge colors can be described fairly easily and everybody can figure out the color with a little hint. White with a little yellow, Orange with copper mixed, etc. Mine is a horse of different color. Any Sage owners have a better way to describe their vehicle's color.
  5. Well I would like to thank all Forum Staff and Members for their outstanding efforts in maintaining this fine Forum. I am waiting patiently for my new 2007 Edge SE with no Options. I expect a call from my saleman any minute now telling me my Light Sage Metallic Edge is washed and ready. I needed a vehicle to hall a bunch of old retired farts to the golf course. I had a 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII and it had no room in the backseat. The Edge drives every bit as nice as the Lincoln but with alot more room. Plus I love sitting high where I can see above traffic. My wife has a fully decked out car with Radar- Sonar-nav-rear camers etc. I don't need all the whistles for my car. The Edge is perfect for my needs. I told my golfing buddies that I was buying a Mustang and to be prepaired to be squished in the back seat. They will be pleasently suprised. Now you know my story and I'm looking forward to learning alot more about my Edge from this Forum.
