Seems like a real silly question. But, this is the first car I have had with the "capless" fuel system. So, I went to pour the bottle in and it ends up running all over the ground............ How do you get the "flap" to open to get this in the tank? Thanks, -Kirk

My 2011 Edge did not. Come with roof fails and I would like to get some. Question is does anyone know if the come in chrome? I have the limited with the chrome trim pieces and thought chrome rails would really 'top' it off. Thanks, -Kirk

Does anyone have the Weather Tech visors? I am going to go with them, but trying to decide which would look better on my silver Edge. The lightly tinted or dark tinited. Any advice would be great. Thanks, -Kirk

Hi everyoone! I have a 2011 Limited and have wondered why such a nice higher end car did not come with the turn indicators on the mirrors. Well, after visiting the Cleveland Auto show this weekend I noticed that the 2013's have them. Just wondering when they started this feature. And, I wonder if my mirrors could be changed out for these. If they can, I am betting they wouldnt be cheap.

I apsalutly love my Edge Limited. But, has anyone else noticed the body panels arent very flush with one another? The "fit and finish just doesnt seem very good.

My phone had worked great with the sync. No problems, then all of the sudon sync wont find my phone. Sync will say the blue tooth is off do I want it on and I say yes. But, it still doesnt find my Black Berry. The sync did perform a self maintainance a couple days ago.

I have used them before and thought about it for my Edge. But, after doing a bunch of research online, I decided I was more interested in keeping the dirt out of my engine rather then a very little bit of exter air into it........... Sometimes its best to not mess with a good thing.

Thanks for the replys! I was thinking about spending the exter for the Weather Techs. Reviews on them sound a lot better then AVS. I am up on the lake in Bay Village. Burton and Northfield isnt too far from me.

I would like to get some vent visors for my 2011 Edge. I like the "in channel" style. I have seen. Weathertech and AVS brands. Does anyone have ether of these or a different brand? Is one better then another? Thanks -Kirk

Ok, I have searched and found many posts about removing the front bracket, but none about installing. Unfortunately I am in Ohio and have to have a front plate :angry: . And my used 2011 Limited did not come with the bracket and I have to put one on. The dealer gave me a new one, but no directions how, where and what to install it with. Has anyone had to install one or maybe somebody that has removed theirs could help me. Thanks, -Kirk

It seems like a good deal, but mine is a 2011 also. So, guessing I would have the same issues as you had. Plus, i would have to have it shipped.

Thanks for the replies! Is the factory hitch just a bolt on like the aftermarkets? I thought I read somthing crazy about removing the whole cover....... And, the hitch you modified is awesome!! I can not weld though....... I am leaning towards the OEM, if it just bolts on. Rather not have something hanging below the bumper that low.

I recently purchased a 2011 Limited. I will need to get a hitch for it since it did not come with the tow package. I am not looking to tow anything more then a bike rack. I am not sure I like the way the factory one sticks out of the rear bumper cover, but I also am not real big on the after markets that hang below it. Does anyone make one that hides behind the rear bumper cover. Kinda like the new Explorers and some of the GM models?? It would be great if there was a cover for it that blended into the bumer when the hitch isnt being used. Has anyone ran across anything like this? Thanks, -Kirk

I have a 2011 Limited and wondered hpw to set/save my screens so the come up the way I want them when I start the car. The touch screen always comes up to the 4 box screen. I would like it to come up on the radio screen. And, the cluster on the right of the speedo will show my phone when I rather see the compass. Is there a way to set the screens? Thanks, -Kirk

Limited59, great to hear someone else is happy with theirs also. I really like mine. And it sure is nice having a site like this to go to for info. But, this site seems to consist a lot of people that are negative and unhappy with theirs (hear a lot of bitchin). Kinda sad. Last one I belonged to was much more positve eventhough the truck I had wasnt perfect. Hope to hear more positive things. -Kirk

Went and did it after a lot of searching and research. Got a used 2011 Limited in silver with the charcoal interior. I love it! And I am so glad I got the Limited, that stereo is awesome!! Also, so far, I am really liking the myfordtouch everyone is complaining about. That being said I do not have navagation, have not and probably won't much use the voice commands. It seems to work just fine. and easy to use to. Even the wife likes it and can fiquere it out...... just dont tell her I said that.

Hi everyone, few questions here. I am torn between the Limited and SEL models. I like the limited, but SEL's can be a bit cheaper. I took a Limited and a SE (havent drove a SEL yet) out for rides and the seats where day and night different. I dont mean leather vs cloth. I mean they are not the same seats. Is the SEL seat the same as the Limited but, just cloth. I wouldn't mind the cloth if the seat is as comfortable as the Limiteds. I also felt that the Limited was quieter with less road noise. Do they insulate the Limited better?? Last question is the 6 speaker stereo vs the 12 speaker Sony. I am very sure the 12 speaker Sony is awesome, but, for general everyday normal volumn listening, is the 6 speaker version decent? I have to think its better then my 4 speaker system in my 2001 Explorer......... But, is the Sony a must have, cause the sound is that much better?? Thanks everyone. -Kirk
