I use it in manual mode with the air directed only out of the upper vents but I've also tried it in Auto mode with no difference.

My AC doesn't seem to move much air. I'm pretty short so I don't sit very far back but I can't feel hardly any air coming from the vents unless I turn up the fan to at least 3 or 4. Is this normal in the Edge? It sure sounds like it's blowing, but you just can't feel much air. This is nothing like my other Fords. On both my 500 and F150 I usually have to turn the fan down to 1 and even sometimes turn the vents away from myself. BTW, this is an '08 Limited. I've had the car for two months now and although I've had a few minor issues like this I have to say that the longer I have and drive this car the more I like it. Although I didn't want it at first one of my favorite accessories is the Nav system. I don't use it for navigation much but I love the interface it gives to the stereo and phone.

Thanks - I was hoping to avoid a long delay in getting the code since I've had the car for almost two months already and it only has 700 miles on it so it may be a while before it goes in for routine maintenance. Anyway, happy ending here. While searching for a code sticker I found the actual code card, in a plastic bag taped to the module behind a panel just as it came from the factory I assume. Someone just dropped the ball somewhere along the way and didn't put it in the owner's manual book. I'm really glad I found it 'cause it would have bugged me all weekend! Now returning to our regular scheduled programming... :beerchug:

Does the dealer need to vehicle to look this info up? I purchased from an out of town dealership and didn't get a keycode card. This is a brand new vehicle - not used. When I called them they said I would have to bring it back to them in order to retrieve the number.

My new '08 with 20's is doing the same thing. Creaking in all four wheels but my worst one is the front left. Any luck getting this fixed so far?

Now that's what I'm talkin' about! Hey, I can dream, can't I? :D Actually, I was thinking along the same lines as you - that December may bring at least a little bump in incentives over this month. Grey mentioned price protection for retail orders. Would my dealer be able to tell me if I'm price protected or not?

Okay, so I'm hoping but not holding my breath for an increased incentive on the '08 Edge. If I place an order now and a new incentive is released before delivery, will I get it or is my price locked in when I order? I was going to purchase an '07 to take advantage of the better incentive, but the Homelink, power lift gate, and possibly White Sand paint are singing their siren song to me... :shades:
