So I am looking to buy a 2013 Ford Edge Sport AWD with following options

 

‎1.‎ Driver entry package

‎2.‎ Vision package

‎3.‎ Panoramic roof

‎4.‎ Navigation with Microsoft Sync

‎5.‎ All season floor mats

 

Dealers quote is $40250. On top of it, I have $750 in Ford cash so I’ll be paying $39508 + taxes + title and ‎registration. I am looking to buy it as early as next week but don’t know whether this is good enough ‎deal. Shall I pull the trigger? Also, can anyone with 2013 model confirm if my ford edge works better ‎now or is it still buggy and slow? I understand that they have started sending SD cards for the upgrades ‎for 2012 models but I am interested in finding out if 2013 was any different than an upgraded 2012 ‎MFT.‎

I have a 2012 Sport with Nav. bought it on 1/3/12. Built 12/2011.

I got the update 3 days after I called Ford & I did update PERFECT!

Before installing newest firmware & SD card my iPod & artwork worked perfect on my 2012.

I noticed other day apprx. 30 songs out of 2400+ were not playing with the correct artwork.

Today I decided to try a new cable and sure enough it started on it's own to index all songs again.

I now have all music correct with the correct artwork. Thought u guys that are having issues might try this!

Got my package today & only took 40 mins.

I called Ford 3 days ago & received it today.

Update & SD card was a snap to install & so far all looks & runs just great!

I had the lifetime to 1 car or 3 transfers total. I paid $500.00 for lifetime.

They really should bring it back again. If they EVER try to charge $800 they can RAM it!

Nice! I'm surprised Ford didn't put the LED mirror turn signal indicators as standard on the Sport.

Must be a 2011? I have them on my 2012 Sport.

Agreed, outdated maps have been my biggest beef. Been one of the lucky ones otherwise. I gave the Nav. System a good test last month with a 15,000km trip and spent lots of time off road. But the car and all other systems worked great and actually got good mileage. But I find it hard to gloat when quite a few forum users are having significant problems.

I guess I count myself lucky too not a single issue that I would waste my breath about!

I plan to buy on Ebay caliper covers for my car & they would look unreal on your car!

They are silver satin finish & have Black letters centered that say "Ford".

After trading in my 300c SRT8 for a new 2012 Ford Egde, 3.7L V6, I must say its quite a change from a HEMI. But loving it so far! I can't lie, I do miss the Brembro brakes and almost 500hp. Just wanted to say "Hi" to everyone on this forum. I will try to add my knowledge and experience with cars as we go along. Thanks!

Don't feel bad I traded my $64,000 Audi & boy did that move to.

But I love my Edge Sport & more so love paying $300 less a month

 

Eagerly awaiting new SYNC software, though. What's there now feels really clunky and "messy".

Your car says color is "Red Candy" I will NEVER understand this one?

My sticker on my car says "Red Candy Metallic" buy my Vin.# and code in drivers door say color is "Red Ruby" wonder if a change has been made?

Okay, I got tired of having the hard drive in the console. I decided to downsize. The problem is that the average flash drive sticks out too far and I'm afraid I'll hit it and damage either the drive or the car. I tried a couple of the truly tiny ones, but they got too hot. I finally found the Sandisk Cruzer Fit. 16G, under $20, doesn't overheat, and here's how it looks.

 

Now that is using your brain... Very nice indeed!
