Hello All,
I bought a used 2008 Ford Edge Limited AWD recently.
I was really impressed with the vehicle until the first serious snowfall...
I got stuck pulling into my back lane in probably 8 inches of snow.... My front tires spin non stop by the rear ones dont seem to wanna move, even with the traction control off. I'm not sure if this AWD system is suppose to only function on dry flat surfaces at highers speeds or if I actually may have an issue with my vehicle. I have felt the rear tires kick in if there is slippage and I have a heavy acceleration, but the back end seem to jerk and make a loud thud thud like I'm driving over something.
From what I have read I'm assuming the AWD System is garbage and I gotta bring it in....
Any advise would be appreciated.
