Would of been nice to have bigger buttons or at least a easier way to adjust speaker settings, I turn more to the back when my son isn't riding back there and its such a pain to try and use it the way it is. Need a way to set contact pictures when you don't have a supported phone, at least let us put them on the sd card and assign them. I still want the ability to change the color scheme, at least let it change with the ambient lighting colors. I'm so sick of the blue on the left its too distracting at night. Oh a night mode would be nice, changes to a easy to read high contrast B&W at night. Browser would be nice if it supports html5 or flash And I want it to have a open api so we can have people develop apps, a nice pandora or last.fm app would be awesome. How bout a pause feature from the steering wheel, this is suppose to reduce looking at the screen while driving but if you want to pause you have to or do voice (which takes too long). Pressing Enter on the steering wheel while on the "Now Playing" screen should do play/pause instead of nothing like it does now. Yeah im a very critical person, :happy feet:

Nope it was the USB port after a restart it completed without fail, just weird bug.

I was on 2.11 and I started the install got to the ok screen hit ok and left my car. I cam back 45min and it said it lost connection with my USB and to reinsert it and press ok. I never unplugged it and just hit ok, the same message popped up again. I unplugged and replugged the drive in I tried this over and over again changed the port, turned off and on my car and still the same message. I think on the reboot after initial OK message the ports didn't get initiated because I had my HDD still plugged in. So now im going to pull the wiring plug and force a reboot. I DO NOT want a 6 hour wait at the dealer like others are having. Update: after pulling the plug I was able to restart the update from the beginning. Bah 2 hour of gas wasted!

Intriguing, I would say its possible but you will have to have the module that controls the "in drive" video shutoff sent in and reprogrammed. Last time i checked it cost around $400 to have it done. Anyone with a lease is SOL in this mod. Hack away owners, let us know how it goes.

I have the built in OEM but I have a hard time using it, I just don't seem to trust it yet since it seems to freeze often if its loading a usb device. Also if its raining it is really useless with water on it.

Wanna get that file and share it so the rest of us can "test" it?

It is still a 1000x better then what onstar offers, which is the only reason I switched from chevy to ford. I am happy having a system that can do everything onstar does with my phone for no extra charge. So any update to make things more functional is worth waiting for. So far MFT has had more support then my phone does in the way of updates. But they should just opensource it so we can have a user supported system. I would love someone to figure out how to put android on it. Ice cream sandwich on my car? Awesome.
