Thanks for the quick response ! I have this old trickle charger that reads @ 2 amperes when fully charged & that's what it reads now. I'm gonna disconnect & clean the terminals now & see if the noise continues

Trying to find out which one. I get this clicking sound, almost like a screw gun when it meets its resistance. Checked battery, which seems to be ok. Or should I just get the whole starter/solenoid ? 2012 Limited 3.5 @49,000 miles, battery replaced in 2019 Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the quick reply. Well, unfortunately the clip is in several pieces. I guess it broke & then dropped down into the engine compartment as the only piece I found was about an inch or so long. I didn't even know they were U shaped.

Howdy ! Long time original owner 2012 Edge Limited 3.5 AWD...anyways, of course I broke the clip taking the hose off. After a half hour of web surfing I don't know if the Dorman 800-040 or 041 or 023 will work on it. After replacing the valve & the hose, it did run nicely for a couple minutes, then the valve started ticking. Duralast PV637 Questions: 1) which Dorman clip will fit my Edge 2) does running it w/o the clip harm the valve in any way. I'd hate to have to walk to the Auto Zone. Thanks in advance !
