Hello guys, yes sound dampening is one reason, mostly beacause I like the engine being covered. And i can install a polished aluminum plate over where it says Lincoln from my work, costs me nothing.

Hello guys, forgot to mention, if you want to do this you will need : Engine cover from MKX, rubber for oil cap, 5mm nut on bottom RH side of valve cover (this holds the edge of cover in grommet that it comes with), and the sleeve so you can put your oil cap!!!!!

Hello guys, I am fitting a MKX engine cover on my Edge and wanted to know the Length of your MKX oil cap. When I put the rubber in the hole and try to screw the Edge oil cap it doesn't fit. Thanks for the help.
