Does turning off the traction control on a 2012 SE affect gas mileage or driveability?

I agree the tilt steering wheel does not go down low enough

Mine is also new and can't say enough about getting a good coat of wax. I used Turtle Wax Ice, does good on the trim also. It will not leave that white haze on it.

I have a 2012 and want to switch the headrest backwards, so they tilt backwards. I am 6'5" and it hits me wrong. I cannot get them to come out.

I feel like the Edge is being robbed of good reviews online because of all the problems with MyFord Touch. The Edge is one of the best crossovers out there, but the reviews are dragged down because people rate the vehicle low due to MyFord Touch. What about those of us who are buying an SE or SEL without MyFord Touch, and all we see is overall low ratings for the vehicle? I purposely bought one without MyFord Touch due to the negative reviews, but I wonder how many people out there are going to skip out on the vehicle altogether because of negative editor and owner impressions that may not even apply to their model. Completely agree, I too did not get the MFT, thank goodness

Turtle Wax Ice is really good for all trim pieces.

Aside from my Fiat Spyder as my first car, I have owned nothing but Fords. Two Mustangs and three Explorers down, now have a 2012 Edge SEL, love it. Should I call it a car or a truck tho?

I just took delivery of a 2012 edge. Only have 700 miles so far, but best car(guess it is a car, hard to call it a truck), have ever owned exept my 85 Mustang GT. My only thing is this is the first front wheel drive vehicle I have owned and am still getting used to the different feel it has when accelrating.
