Hi guys, I could use some advice on the best way to keep the shine of the grill on my 2012 Edge. It looks like the grill is a chromed plastic of some sort. What is the safest way to shine it up? Can you treat it like any other body panel, such as using a paint sealant and wax, or would your recommend another method? I read some horror stories about people using metal polishes on chromed plastic. Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot for your input. I was able to track down pretty much the same vehicle (except with 18" wheels) and only 27 miles on the odometer for a little less than the demo I wrote about. I'm very happy to have it.

Hi, Yesterday I saw a 2012 Edge Ltd. with the 302A package, vision package, 20" wheels, and the trailer package. It has 4300 miles on it, but it was never registered so the dealership considers it new. Apparently the owner of the dealership used it exclusively. They offered it to me at $39,000 (the price includes a $1500 rebate and 0% financing). This seems very high to me for a vehicle with 4300 miles (even though it is in pristine condition). What do you think would be a reasonable price for this vehicle? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Looking for a 2nd hand one. We were looking for a new one originally, but found some good deals on 2011 Edges.

Thanks Tacyon. It sounds like you got a good deal compared to what I have been seeing so far. The Edge I am looking at is certified pre-owned (CPO). From what I can tell, there is a bit of a premium to be paid for certified vehicles.

Hi, I came across a CPO 2011 Edge Limited (AWD) in a color combo my wife and I can agree on - Bordeaux with the light stone interior. The car has 16,900 miles and comes with the 301A package, and the 20" rims. The dealer is asking $29,995. This is lower than what KBB had listed for it. Is there much leeway in negotiating for a CPO car? Do you know what would be a reasonable opening bid? Any advide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, I began shopping for an Edge, so I am lucky that I came across this forum. My family has a long history of owning Ford products - beginning with a '55 TBird, and ending in the mid 1980s with a station wagon. I look forward to learning more about the Edge. Thanks!
