Hello, Brand new member here. I have a 2008 Ford Edge. Over the last couple of weeks the power liftgate has taken to falling down. What happens is the gate lifts fine, then after a few seconds it drops a couple of inches then powers down. I suspect that the lift "shocks" are weak and need to be replaced. Any help here would be appreciated. My wife does not like getting hit in the head by this thing. When momma aint happy... Many thanks!!
