have used K&N for 20+ years and never had an issue. Cannot find a MAF in the airtube from filter to throttle body oddly. Unless Ford puts them in the throttle body on these.

I am getting 23-24mpg hwy out of the V8 ,my edge would barely get 23 open hwy. all city is 17-19 still havent got a bed cover, that will be income tax time purchase. I put a K&N on it the next morning after driving it home. I looked at the Borla but the cost is quite prohibitive. I have never looked at gas mileage to determine a purchase, and I drive about 500-700 miles a week some times. its been just over 2 weeks and Im at 2400 miles. work has been out of town the last 2 weeks.

Said hello to my F150 supercrew with 302A lux package 5.0l v8 same fuel mileage. Black on black sport xlt apperance, dual panoramic moon roof. it will do me nicely for work and play. The edge started having random strange computer issues. The horn button would only work after you pressed the panic on FOB. and other untraceable things.

just changed mine at 100k miles the factory when they came out were gapped at 130,000ths new NGK iridium IX and mpg in town is up 3mpg. the intake removal was straight forward with no guides or help but this wasnt my first time with a badly designed upper end to an engine.

I get 24-25mph hwy but intown stop and go its dismal at 9-13mpg. granted take off is where the most fuel is wasted getting this behemoth rolling.

sorry for delay in response, work picked up and 14 hour days sucks. and yes the 3.7 will throw you back and hold you there. handling is solid but the wheel torque is noticeable in hard acceleration. passing is like gas,brake damn that was fast. the mpgs arent as good as I would have liked but I dont pay for gas anyway my company pays for it all. whether its my personal car (edge) or my company truck.

gotta say this edge sport is sweet as hell. owned a 2004 colorado and loved it till it was totalled out on 8/31/12 more later william
