I've gotten quotes from other dealers and they are comparable, but all a few hundred higher than this quote for virtually the same vehicle. I was surprised at how quickly they sent me the rebate amounts back. My suspicion is that there is some other kind of rebate that's not really called a "rebate", but they hold back from disclosing it if you don't ask the right question. Maybe I'm a cynic. But, judging by how quickly they offered me an internet price of $37k, I suspect they can go down lower. I feel comfortable offering 36.5k (including destination fee), and I'll offer to pay the processing fee (assuming it's $200-300) and I'll buy some dealer specific maintenance which is pure profit for them. According to them they are offering $3000 worth of factory rebates. So that basically means is that my offer should be what their invoice cost is for the options minus the factory rebates?

Thanks for the heads up. I ordered the brochure. It might not matter in the end since I'm planning to buy this weekend. If they try and haggle me on price, I'll give them the ol "brochure is in the mail for a coupon", etc.

I have an offer for a Sport that has as follows: AWD Driver Entry Vision package Panoramic All weather mats Back spoiler Navigation with MFT MSRP (with dest): $44.020 Dealer offer: $37,000 (plus dest, processing fee, T/T/T) This was their very first offer when I asked for a quote. I was planning to go in and offer them: $36.5k (which includes destination, but does not include processing, T/T/T) and I'll offer to purchase about $1k worth of premium care stuff from their dealership Thoughts on my approach? LAstly, am I better off giving them my offer over the internet or in person on a friday afternoon? TIA!
