I would like an answer to this question also. I hit my side view mirror on my garage door while backing out and the the clear plastic part that lights up got pushed out of place ( I have the blind spot mirror). I'm wondering if the black outer plastic part that fits over the front of the mirror can pop off or is it glued? If I can pop off the black casing, I can probably realign it, but it hasn't come off with gentle pressure and I don't want to crack it. Thanks in advance if anyone can help.
