The chrome clad 18's are official off the edge with 600 miles on them and need a new home. Anyone interested at 225 each plus shipping? Might also consider best offer.

Excellent work, and nice looking vehicle! How long did it take you to attach the molding? Did you find it easy to do?

 

I am in the process of doing mine right now, and it was a PITA to get the masking tape to lay straight and at the right level. The doors on the Edge are quite contoured, so taking measurements was interesting.

 

Only got one side done for now, on to the other one!

I measured ans marked with tape alot. It took maybe an hour just because the vehicle and moulding was cold.

First i must add that the 2013 Genesis coupe spanked both the camaro and mustang v6's. Havinv said that, you might get a set of pulleys to work, but the best bang for the buck is a good tune.

Tinted windows, sportwing door guards. The wheels will be replaced in the morning.

That dudes f150 looks terrible with those rims in my opinion

Edge looks good

I am thinking about ordering a homelink mirror and retrofit it in.

I've used VHT and have also purchased a set of tails done with laminex. The film looks good, but i question how durable it is. I will be tinting the edge tails as soon as i find a spare set.

Also agree that its lame that the homelink is not there.

normally she doesnt let me mods her stuff, this just happens to be one rare case where she letting me do a couple of things. Of course it also helps that we swapped payments and I am paying for her Edge and she is paying for my car..

So we traded in the wifes 2011 Kia Sorento LX a week ago for a 2013 SEL. Thus far the wife really likes it and I like the fact that she will let me modify it a little. Thus far I have had the windows tinted and I added the Sportwing molding and have a set of wheels on order. I am looking at several other mods, but it seems like the forum doesnt have as much life as the forums for my car or truck. I would like to see a good tune for the Edge as it could use a little more power.

I think the top things i want to do mod wise are:

black grill

tinted taillights

badging changes

custom for lights

weathertech mats all around

btw: its white suede with tan leather with the chrome clad 18's (which are for sale)

Think of it as a amplifier. Basically you push 25%, it says 50%. Only a tune to the ecu will truely overcome the delay.

So any of you guys still have an undamaged set of removed emblems?

Salesman say the Edge should arrive by Friday. It would then take probably 2 weeks to get new wheels in and installed.

Yes, it is the 2013 20x8 chrome clad wheels and i would love to sell them to you, but the dealer didnt have our Edge on the lot. Turns out it is on a truck or train on its way. If you are able to wait, i will sell them to you. What is your zip code so i can estimate shipping?

I like colored calipers. As a person with a car with real Brembos, I don't like the idea of putting fake Brembo covers on.
