Anyone heard anything?

Hi everyone, I recently did a Master Reset on my SYNC system because it was freezing up when connecting my phone. This usually does the trick and it worked for the phone, but this time I got an unwanted side effect.... When I click on "Bluetooth Audio" it just has a message saying "Bluetooth Audio Stream detected" instead of showing the title/artist name and giving the forward/back/play/pause options like it usually does.... I selected under settings both "index bluetooth devices" and the using Gracenote feature... btw it shows the title name in the lower left hand corner of the main screen but not on the bluetooth screen as described... Anyone know how to get the the title/artist and controls back to normal when clicking bluetooth audio? Thanks for any help!

Thanks akirby! If I was to upgrade to EBC pads or another aftermarket, would you then suggest changing all at the same time?

Hi guys, I have been reading all the old posts about brake pads so please forgive me for asking this... but I recently had my car in for "The Works" Oil Change and the service manager said my rear brake pads are "starting to get low." I currently have about 29,000 miles on my Edge Sport. Does this sound realistic? I understand that factors like braking habits will affect it, but how long do brake pads on the edge typically last? If so would you guys suggest changing out brake pads at all four points at once instead? Thanks for any input! Gene

Installed the black rear emblem...what do you guys think?

Did you purchase the rear (7") emblem too? EDIT** I purchased the 7" emblem from this seller for the back--it is the complete emblem, you just have to re-use the back plastic piece which adheres to the hatch badge area, no big deal.. Looks great, I will post a pic later...

Thanks! It's the full oem emblem, painted black with automotive paint and coated. It's really a great custom piece. I got it on eBay from seller "downatthebuilding". He does great work if you are interested in getting one!

Just installed black emblem up front and hAd the surround painted tuxedo black to match... Waiting on the emblem for the rear hatch, should be here next week

2011 Sport. Only mod so far is the black mgp caliper covers. I have the front and rear black emblems just need to install them along with the black painted base plate for front

Hi guys, Maybe I'm being neurotic and paranoid but I have to ask this question... Yesterday I hit a speed bump at maybe 20mph...it was same color as the road and took me by surprise... The springs n shocks compressed when hitting. Needless to say I am kinda bugging out now.... The car tracks straight as usual and there's no noises. But I feel like I notice the bumps in the road more....this could also be because I just inflated all tires to around 40 psi..... So anyway, does anyone think I could have caused any issues under there? Do you think I could have bent arms or suspension components, messed up the shocks or springs, or even bent the frame????? Too slow to bend the frame right?? Would an alignment at the dealer be good to clarify no damage? Sorry I know I sound crazy but I guess I'm just paranoid....what do you think?

Dingo, your calipers look awesome!! I too wanted to do a blacked out look. I just haven't gotten around to ordering them yet. Question- is that the "powder coat black" that is advertised on the mgp website under custom? They look amazing!

I really like the ones with the Ford logo...do they by chance make the with the "Sport" logo? Also, fitment was fine behind the wheels for you guys right?

How does the matte black install? on or under the hood?

Update - I picked up a set of the Motorcraft Premium blades with the wear indicator from the dealership. They were 9.98 each when I brought in a coupon from the owner.ford.com site. FYI - for some reason these didn't "click" when they locked in, however they are most certainly locked in place as I tugged and pulled on them to make sure they were secure. Anyone esle have this experience?

I actually ordered the CeriGlass kit the other day but i failed to mention that in my previous post...I ordered the hand kit which comes with the pads and microfiber towel...I will give it a whirl. Carbonedge+ - what by chance do your streaks look like? Are they like a light gray in color and almost look similar to a scratch but more botchy? As I keep looking at mine I am thinking it is a combination of a sratch and a rubbing streak...maybe I can at least get the streak part off with the CeriGlass...

Hi everyone, I'm new here. I recently purchased a 2011 Edge Sport with 11,000 miles. I love the car so far, but I have come upon one issue... During a recent snow storm, something go caught on my wipers and it scratched/smudged the windshield following the arch path of the wiper. Not sure if it was the dragging blade or something on the blade that scracthed it... Anyway, I've been trying to figure out how to attempt to remove the scratch/smudge. I tried toothpaste, diluted vinegar, Magic Eraser..nothing worked yet. I have read about trying either polishing compound or cerium oxide (jewelers rouge). Has anyone resolved an issue like this on their Edge? Is it just me or do our windshields seem a little soft? Also, due to this situation, I have decided to replace the windshield wiper blades. I bought the Rain-X Latitude blades, and they do not "click" to lock in place. Has anyone experienced this? Does anyone have a suggestion on an aftermarket windshield wiper for our cars that click to lock in place? Thanks for the help! -Gene
