  1. For the past few days, I've noticed a strange "Grinding/Rubbing" noise(not squealing)coming from my R.R. Wheel area of my 2011 Edge SE. I'm not sure if it's the brakes or what. It doesn't do it the entire time I'm breaking, It only happens right before a complete stop at around 5-10 mph(even if it just inches along). This morning, when I was going thru a stop sign, I heard the grinding as I stopped and it continued for a split second after releasing the brake pedal while the wheels were slowly spinning.

My other cars brakes squealed when the pads wore down. So I'm lost and hoping for some ideas....Thanks

  2. Hello, I have a 2011 Edge SE with stock 17's and I was hoping someone could me out. I know it's been brought up in the past and I've done the research, but I can't find the answer I'm looking for.

Over the weekend, I came to close while trying to park and contacted the edge of a very tall curb, resulting in breaking the wheel cover. From what I've read, the clad covers are "glued" onto the rims and are not replaceable. With that being said, I do not want to replace mine with new covers, I just want to remove them to paint the rims(My wife wants them a flat black color). Can anyone tell me how to remove/separate the wheel covers from the rims?
