  1. I would go with the Alpine PDX-V9 only because the 1 channel has more power but the issue with using 4 channel amps is you cannot seperate your door speakers from sub. Only because your crossover is either on HPF, LPF, or Full. That's why I got two seperate amps so i can independently control them. Plus the rear door speakers bring more mid bass range while fronts will be full or high range. This is why I had to had a subwoofer into the mix.
  2. 2007 Ford Edge SEL Headunit - JVC KW-AV50 Speakers - Infinity Kappa 682.11 (2 pairs) Subwoofer - JL Audio 10W1v Tablet - Asus Transformer TF101 (mounts on dash) Amp 1 - Old Optimus 2 channel 200 watt, Left channel Front, Right Channel Rear Amp 2 - Kole Audio 400 RMS 2 channel I custom build the box to fit into the rear side quarter panel. Perfect fit. Box dimensions - 12 = L, 12 = W, 9 = D = 0.496 cuft Both amps are installed under rear seat just the right height for both seats to fold down. FYI, If you can use the tray and to fabricate a 8" sub that would be even better or a 6" Low to mid range subwoofer. I didn't think about until I cut the piece off and place it against my sub box.
