  1. guys, im in the process of getting a new battery as well. I went for an H6 AGM 760, What do i set FORSCAN to? 01? this is what i got https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/motomaster-eliminator-agm-group-size-48-h6-l3-battery-760-cca-0104820P.0104820.html
  2. whats the diff between regular suspension and ford edge sport suspension? didnt wnt to start a new thread to ask about this again are the brakes/calipers any different as well?
  3. i just purchased a sport 2018. How small can we go in winter? 17"? 18"?
  4. I also have the 20" package and I've been using 17" for two winters now without an issue. I believe they are what you quoted above 235/65/17. They work great!
  5. I took it in yesterday and left the car @ the dealership all day! I knew from the get go that it would have been very difficult for the technician to replicate as the wipers dont stop working on the first drop of water. They apparently used a hose for about 5 mins to try and duplicate my complaint but they were not successful. It was a very frustrating experience if I'm being honest as this is one of those situations that dont manifest when you need it to. That being said, I ended up speaking with the service manager and he agreed to order the motor and have it swapped as I stressed a few times that it was a safety issue and snow is just around the corner. He did say that there was no guarantee that this would fix it since they were not able to replicate it. I will take it in again on Saturday and hopefully swapping the motor would take care of this problem.. Will keep you posted
  6. Thank you WWWPerfA_ZN0W. It is 2013 model. Would the steps be the same? Do you know if this would be covered under warranty
  7. Thanks guys! Washer works fine even when it rains. to access the motor, that would mean removing the wipers and plastic cover right? Opened the hood and it all seems to be behind the firewall. Should also be covered under warranty?
  8. Hey Guys, I'm hoping someone can help. My windshield wipers dont work when it rains. Only the highest setting seems to work. Manual and low intermittent settings stopped moving or don't work at all. Before it stopped working altogether, the motor seemed to have slowed down and eventually gave up. When it all dried up/no rain, all settings were working again as normal. Any idea what's causing this?
  9. Sorry to hear about your troubles. Just to give an update on my situation, as soon as i reverted back to the 20s that came with the car (from 17" - Winter tires), the GPS has been working flawlessly without any issues. So i guess mine had something to do with the "dead reckoning" issue as stated before
  10. no one ? anyone? bump..any advice would be appreciated
  11. I know this is an old thread, but i took my time to buy and put things together. I did a lot of research and before i go ahead and do the installation this spring, i want to make sure I have everything that i need to move forward. Here's a list of things that I have at the moment Alpine PDX-V9 Audiocontrol LC7I NVX XKIT44 Infinity Kappa 682.11CF (already installed in all 4 doors) I will be tapping into the speaker wires at the door (front and rear) instead of going behind the head unit. I'm also planning to run new speaker wires from the amp to the speakers. I am aware that our alternator is 150 AMP but considering that my 5 channel amp is 800 W RMS/1600 W max power, will i be required to install a capacitor? I believe that with the system installed, i will be needing at least 100 AMP from the alternator. This is the calculation I've been using (800 RMS (AMP) + 400 (sub) / 12) = 100 AMP (not sure if i should have added the sub in this calc) . Will that put too much strained on the alternator? Finally the speakers are 2 ohm and the sub i have is 4 ohm, will that be a problem? Pls advise
  12. Josh, did your issue start after changing to winter tires as well?
  13. Yeah I will be trying the battery fix and see how that goes. My 17s are 235-65/17 as well
  14. It may be the tires afterall.. check out this thread on another forum http://www.f150forum.com/f38/does-tire-size-affect-2013-navigation-192747/index4/
