So my wife's Edge has been having the intermittent transmission problem over the past year. Sometimes after stopping at a red light she would try to accelerate and the RPM's would go high and the car would just creep. Found out it was staying in high gear. A problem most likely related to the Output speed sensor or the Turbine speed sensor. Both on the tranny. This is what I found in my research and the dealership tech thought it might be. So I bought both sensors and replaced them today, along with a fluid change. But now, the car will only go in reverse. And its sporadic. It will engage reverse in R, D and L sometimes. Neutral is fine and Park is fine, but it never engages drive. Any thoughts?? Thanks!

A few time when she has come to a stop at a red light and then tried to accelrate, the RPM's would go really high and the car would barely creep. Come to find out, it was staying in high gear. A problem with the Output speed sensor or the Turbine speed sensor. I bought and replaced both today, along with a fluid change. But now the car will only give me Reverse. And its erratic at that. Sometimes it will reverse in R, D or L. In N it stays neutral and P it stays in Park, but will not give me forward in any gear. Any ideas??? Thanks.

I just replaced the brake booster on my wifes Edge, but now I have a small problem. The pedal doesnt seem to come back out as far as it should. There is a small gap between the pedal and the brake switch. So it is not depressing it and the brake lights are on all the time.
