I just purchased a 2011 MKX and the remaining warranty was transferred to me. When I go into the download area for the MLT Sync, it says I'm up to date. However, I went into the system info of the SUV, wrote down all the software and firmware rev. numbers, then I called Sync support. They verified to me that the performance upgrade has not been done, ad that there was no way I could download it to a thumb drive, or have it mailed to me, I have to bring it to the dealership for the upgrade.
Does anyone have any information on this other than what they told me?
