You try using the manual or S SPORT shift and check if it still moved slower than using the automatic D Drive. I keep shifting from D and S occasionally. When im on freeway i work with the Sport.. and when im in the city or urban areas id go for D... familiarize your gear.. Got my Edge last week of June.. when same characteristic but found a solution..The SPORT S helps. And oh by the way.. try changing your TRACTION settings ON / OFF and see if theres a difference with it accelerates.. good luck!

That is why i did not get the model with a navigation system after reading that it has a lot of issues..and so do with the satellite radio. So i bought a 7inch garmin with Lifetime Map Traffic update and a bluetooth for my phone sync and i dont have any issue with it. The 4inch local radio, the CD will do for me.. and i can even add an FM modulator for the MP3.

Hi, Just got my base model Ford Edge..the only level i can afford . After 3 days of use i notice that is does not have an Anti-Theft System installed. Now, i went back to the dealership and they check my car, tested and told me that is doesn't have any installed in it. So i decided and told them to install such device just to have myself a peace of mind. I waited for i think 2 hours at the quick lane lobby 'til it was finished and i havent seen the thing that was installed in my car except for that blinking led light on my dashboard , sticker and a little pack of manual of the device. Here's how it cost me for the installation. Please tell me if it's too much cost for the said add-on. Please check attached receipt.. Labor : $144.28 Parts: $155.71 Tax: $12.85 Total: $312.84
