Re: 2008 MKX with Nav w/o THX Would it be difficult to add a sub from a model equipped with the THX sub to a non-THX system. The JBL stealth boxes are too pricey, and I prefer because of the clean stock look. The stock sub enclosures can be found on ebay for about $80-$150 and noticed that most even come with what looks like an amp attached to the back. Please let me know what route to take with this.

I am due for the plug replacement, coolant flush and pcv replacement as well. When getting quotes for the labor (I have all the parts sitting at home), one shop recommended I change the intake manifold gasket when doing the plugs. Is this normal? I asked a service worker at the dealer and said they don't normally replace the gasket, however it is recommended. Please share your thoughts on this.

I have a 2008 Ultimate Edition with the adaptive headlights and had aftermarket HID's installed. I am having issues with the projectors coming on when its dark out and now my drivers light seems to be out. I would prefer to swap out for OEM units if they were available. Please inform if they did and what are the part numbers needed for the swap.

To me, the vent that directs air to the windows is in the same location, just the outer shape is different. Does anyone know if the doors were changed on the facelift?

Does anyone know if the door panels from a 2011 Lincoln MKX fit the 2007-10 models? I am attaching a pic for reference.

Up for sale are are a set of 4 OEM 20" Lincoln MKX Wheels with tires. Tires have about a good year and a half left, all wheels are in excellent condition. One minor scratch on one wheel and a small area where the chrome flaked off on the other. I am selling all 3 for $800 plus shipping. Please let me know.

Good morning. I had just purchased an '08 Lincoln MKX Ultimate Edition over the weekend and had a few questions regarding compatability of body parts with its sister model (Edge). I noticed that the 1st gen Edge and MKX share the same bottom bumper cover (fog lights down--the matte portion). My questions are as follows: -Is the Sport kit on the 2010 model an add-on (lip) for the front bumper or is it a complete new bumper cover? -If it is a lip, what is the part number. -If it is a lip, would you think it will fit on an MKX I know 3D Carbon sells a lip kit for the MKX but I prefer how the fog lamp housing looks on the Edge Sport model. This is the reason why I would go with Edge lip as opposed to 3D Carbon.
