    2015 Edge MPG

True or False, if you have the 2015 sport you HAVE to use Super Gas???
  2. I hate that they did away with the climate control from the steering wheel on the right side of the gauges.
  3. Hi everyone. I just picked up my 2015 Edge Sport today. Read all of this, and now I'm nervous. My vin is FBB54777, is mine ok?
  4. Has anyone done these? Was it a hard job? Just got my 2013 Edge Sport yesterday, and I would really like to get the blue brembo covers they sell on ebay, but I notice you glue them on. Wondering how hard this is to do? Will It last? What happens when you have to have the pads changed? Thanks, FIN
  5. Has anyone used the 3m clear stickers on the fairings below the doors so people don't drag their feet and chip the paint? Anyone do this yet?
  6. Buzzman, love the brembo brakes! Do you mind me asking what they cost? Also, can they be bought in other colors? I would really like them in blue.

  8. I'm back in an Edge, and I'm lovin it! The white sport is awesome! I have a couple issues with the sync though: I recently purchased a 2011 Ford Edge sport as well as a new iPhone 4s. I can pair the phone up with the sync, but for some reason I am having issues. Issue 1) music from the iphone plays via bluetooth, but when you hook it up via the usb, an error comes up on the car screen saying "there are no media files on the device". Issue 2) No album art transfers over bluetooth -- Not sure if it works via usb, see issue 1 Issue 3) No caller ID pics transfer from the phone to the car scren. Issue 4) When calling out, the caller ID info does not show up on the car screen. I hope someone out there reads this and can let me know what they did to fix these items.

  10. I have an 07 Edge... It has roughly 35k on it, and since about 25k it has had an on again, off again problem with the Heating/AC fan that blows the air out slowing down, and quitting all together. Whether it is on level 4 or 1. Sometimes when I get back into the car after it had died the day before, it will come on full blast... last a couple weeks.... then die again like yesterday. The heat still comes out, but no FAN... Then on the way home from work yesterday all of the sudden it comes back on. Anyone else have a problem like this??? Fin
  11. For the past couple months I've had a problem with my 07 edge, whereby the fan will be on one minute, then slow down, and then sometimes shut all the way off. Took it to the dealership and of course they couldnt' get it to do it. Anyone else have this problem?? Or know of a solution??
  12. 35PSI???? The tires say 44???? Which one should I go with? I have been runnin them at 44 since I got it. p.s., gettin around 21 mpg city, 23.5 highway.
  13. Here is a pic of the outlet bar. I think it looks rather clean, no mess at all. And after using it for a while it works great! Fin
  14. So, I got my new edge and LOVE it! However, I have a Sirius Stiletto 2 and a Garmin GPS. I hooked the Sirius direct and ran the audio line and the power line from inside the console. I popped the console off just like everyone in here said... Really easy! Then drilled a hole and ran both lines. I ran the antenna line from the back as many people have described... Damn, this forum is awesome. But when I was all said and done I wasn't happy, as each time I would park I would have to unplug the Garmin, and then open the armrest and unplug the Sirius... NOT GOOD.... Pain in the Buttocks! So I went exploring for a solution. Took a bunch of trips to local parts stores, with no luck. Then one day while in Wally World, (aka Wal-mart), I found my answer. You see, they sell a three outlet bar with an on off switch that plugs into the outlet in front of the shifter. It comes with two sided tape and it fits PERFECTLY in that little alcove where the outlet is. There is just enough room to put the outlet bar's plug in in the outlet. Then I got a Blue Glow Dolphin light to put in the third outlet (due to the fact that you mount the bar upside down and can't see the light on the switch very good). I re-ran the plug lines, and left the audio line in the console. BINGO!!! It works awesome. Whenever you get to where you are going, you can't help but turn the button off, (because of the glowing blue dolphin) which in turn saves your battery! It works great and you don't have to unplug your units anymore! It is great! I'll try to post some pics soon. Fin
