Its backwards because in the other cars, enabling "DUAL" made the temperature consistent with the driver. In the Edge, enabling "DUAL" lets the passenger select their temperature, independent of the driver.

Its kinda backwards from other systems I've used (Subaru, BMW, Honda), but you just need to get used to it. It confused me as well in the beginning.

I picked up a 2013 Edge SEL with BAMR a little less than a month ago. I checked out the Thule site before I made my decision and knew that they had a solution for the Edge with Vista Roof. I installed the aero blade cross bars with the Thule fit kit for the Edge. And I am using that with a Thule side arm bike rack and the snowboard carrier. No issues. Just have to be cognizant of the weight on the roof and low clearance overpasses when the bike is on the roof.

Its the 3.5L AWD. During the week, I drive to and from train station located less than 2 miles from me and to and from gym. That's it. About 20 miles during the work week. Weekends I'll take it on the highway.

I picked up my 2013 Edge SEL last month. I'm averaging 15-16 mpg on a little less than 1k miles driven. The Edge replaced a 328x that was averaging about 17-18. I'm hoping that it gets better as it gets broken in.
