I am not impressed at all with the HID's on my Edge Limited. The D3S system they use is an under performer in my opinion. The HID's in my wife's Kia, which are H3 are much brighter when side by side. I'd like to keep the factory projectors but replace everything else with a 4300 lumens kit from Xenon Supply or DDM. What bulb can I get that goes right into the housing that is now occupied by the D3S?

$100 a bulb is not expensive for the D3S so that might be an alternative. However, I was thinking more along the lines of putting a kit from DDM or Xenon Supply in using the D2S bulb, would that bulb fit in the housing without issue and then I would wire up the ballasts, etc... If someone could give me some feedback that would be great. I am also open to other alternatives.

Believe it or not, the HIDs on the Edge Limited are average by best. My wife's HIDs on her Kia Sportage blow mine out of the water. I have a 2011 Limited and I know the bulbs are D3S. What bulb other than the D3S would fit in the housing for my Limited with HIDs? I have no issue wiring up my vehicle to support a different ballast package, just need to know what bulbs fit without modifications.

My Edge has the factory HIDs. I have a bulb that is burnt out, how do I replace the bulbs? Does anyone know the factory temperature ratings of the bulbs, is it 4300k?

FOUND IT! I took out everything in hatch to the metal. Nothing. Then something caught my eye underneath carpet underneath the rear seat, and bingo!!!

Under the try in the center console? Can you take a picture and show me what you mean?

I just bought a slightly used Edge Limited with IA fob. Went to the store this morning and did not realize until I left the car that I forgot my key fob at the house. The vehicle only came with 1 key fob. Everything worked still and the vehicle started no issues. Do you think the previous owner hide the other fob somewhere in the vehicle???? I did notice that the sensors on the door for entering and locking the doors don't work, but unlocking vehicle with keypad, then it starts right up. I have looked in all the common places including the slot in the center console but no key fob. I don't like this happening. I suppose if I can't get that key fob found, assuming that is what is going on, I will need to reprogram fob. Any ideas?
