Thanks guys, I am thinking where it was in garage so long. They spilled some stuff. First oil change about 900 miles away. I am at about 4200 miles now .

Thought I would do a check before vacation after repairs noticed this not sure if a lil oil like this is Normal or not?

Never really noticed any shift changes , just fluid leaking....lol.

So ford service did get the whole assembly there minus one line be there tomorrow . The part if I understand right is called the Auto Trans Modulator Valve. That apparently is where the leak is from. Anyone had any issue ? This part is a huge back order part, I assume that means issues .. Thanks everyone !!! Part 7h322 is apparently part leaking, there replacing it and hoses attached.

They think problem all along was the h block. The line they pulled and reset hooked to this block. Bad part. It's on back order til as long as June 30th...

They think the leak all along was the h block. It's where there is two tranny lines on each side above wheel on drivers side. The same line they rehooked and hooked back up . The downside is the eta to get part could be as long as June 30th......... So it's sitting on let awaiting parts...

This is still same side behind driver side wheel..

Thanks again.... It is a dark fluid. The car is setting at 3513 miles, hasn't had its first oil change yet. It really looks like oil. I just assumed it was from him overfilling. I'll be there at garage in am. Thanks so much for your help !!!! I did smell it... Not really a smell...

Is there a overflow on top of transmission. I think it was over filled

He never said what that hose was. There reason was it could had been doing that since day one and that's all it needed . I guess In my head I think should replace but I guess the uv light tell the story tomorrow when I swing by to see I'd anything seaped. Thanks !!!

So they Un-hooked that hose and reset it. Added dye . No leaks. Going to run back Friday for a final look under uv Light.

Only pics I had . The end you see goes into a grey box about 6 in tall maybe 10 wide and 1 1/2 thick. Grey. Then other end of hose runs behind radiator. Trans fluid couldn't see on stick, so sure it's low. Ford roadside picked car up as I was advised not to drive . Thanks!!!

I traced those two hoses up. They are really oily,. Appears to be transmission hoses. Fluid looks red.. Thanks !!!

Those lines directly above are saturated . That frame area you see was covered I wiped off. I seen a few drops. They are cleanish. I do have a factory hitch installed after I bought car. I thought air condition condensation , but very oily and I don't think it comes from that area. The other edge we have same thing different color with towing package is as clean as a whistle there. The car is 2013 , sel , with appearance package. 3447 miles. The ticking still there , they wanted me to wait til after first oil change, I don't want engine tore into it does go away after a bit. The techs , multiple ones say no need for concern. Thanks for your prompt reply.

I have a oily residue on the bottom side of the car on the drivers side towards the front bumper. Coolant looks full, oil looks full, Anyone have a clue to what this is. It is sorta clear but oily feeling .

Car went in for climate control services,brought up engine sound and they do not think sound is engine. The sound comes more from under Drivers side.

Yes software is up to date . It does not have touch . It has 3.5 in screen. Garage seems to think it's the actual switch on the driver side . The driver side is all that freezes in that 2 degree loop. Passenger side will change. They don't think it's a software issue..

Anyone have trouble with climate control freezes. Mine happens random. It will freeze; as in all temperature changes I can make on my ford non touch screen is whatever temperature is on startup , it will let me change example. If set on 74 , it will toggle 74/75. No more. Or last night I turned on high. It would go 85- hi. Only way to reset is stop car wait 5 minutes restart. This only happens on drivers side , it will let you adjust passenger side. We have another edge. Never does this , thought I'd come get some feedback. Thanks everyone !!

This is what mind does , warmed up or drove a few miles it ok. Nothing heard inside. We bought two 2013s. Only one does. The dealer says the one on lot makes the sound after a min. Totally normal.. Thanks. For the reply [ When I first crank my 2011 SE it has a ticking sound. I can hear it when I am standing outside but nothing can be heard while sitting in the Edge. After about a few minutes of driving the sound goes away when I am just sitting there. Also, I have 23,xxx miles on mine. My parents have a 2012 SEL so I will ask them if their's does the same thing and report back.

Yes I mentioned tsb. The sound seems be lower part of engine. The sound subsides just as fast or faster 1k later. Hopefully break in. The tech said if it got no worse he said it was the variable cam timing. I would think after running hard in harsh cold if it was a concern it would have worsened by now. After staying at garage all day. The tech and foreman say this is normal. They compared to one on lot that started same thing after 1min. I am at 2300 miles now. About 1k later. No change. The other edge we own is at 900 miles . Still no sound. So I guess different cars , different sounds. Runs fine .

So appointment is wed... Thought I'd take a look tonight... Crawled under car.. The sound seems more towards the exhaust. Driver side bottom of engine.. .. Guess. We'll find out wed.

Car, I am dropping off Tue night , so it's there for a cold start Wed morning without waiting all day . Will follow up then .
