I picked up my 2007 Edge AWD SEL at the end of February. I love my Edge with the exception of the mpg. I have about 10000 miles on it and have yet to hit 15mpg. Most of my driving has been suburb driving with a some expressway driving into Chicago. My mpg by computer and by hand has been about the same. I would LOVE to be able to get near the 20mpg that some people have posted.

First of all I love my new Edge!. I purchased the Navigation Unit with it. I was wondering if anyone knew who manufactures this unit. I want to find out if there is a possibility of adding any add on units to it, such as an ipod controller or bluetooth unit.

Early on I'm sure I saw an ad or commercial showing an iPod hooked-up in the center console using the bottom dock connector. One of salesmen I talked also said I could control my iPod using the steering wheel audio controls. Now that people have their Edges, is this true? Or is it just an audio connector through the headphone jack?

I ordered my Edge a couple of days before Christmas. My salesman said the Edge plant was going to be closed for a week or 2 after Christmas. Could anybody tell me if this was true?

Just a question regarding delivery time. I ordered a fully loaded Edge(nava,18" alum., pana roof) on 12/23/06. This was in Illinois at one of larger Ford Dealerships. Any idea when I might expect delivery? I can get along without it for a while, end of Feb or beginning of March would be ok.
