People scavange scrap metal over here on trash days to make a quick buck. But nice trailer!
-
I'm scared and just leaving it alone. The book says not to fill after it clicks the first time so I rather not have more problems. It's all good not having about 2 gallons, doesn't bother me at all I'm just used to it now

I have a ford one. Its called a security shade and is not retractable. Got it from the dealership. A retractable one would be really nice!!
-
There's another recent thread with this problem. A few people here have this problem too!
-
Congrats and welcome to the forums!

Mine happens at 65+
It's easy to prove or disprove whether it's the crown of the road. Check it in a flat parking lot, driving in both directions. If it pulls to the right then it's either a tire or the suspension or the brakes.
-
Did you bring it back and get it fixed?
My dealer tried to tell me it was the crown as well. To which I commented that the problem still occurs even when driving on one way streets in the left lane that crowns to the left. I would call BS on that excuse.

I have this problem too but they determined the was the crown of the roads...wouldn't do anything for me.

No way will I ever let someone else wash my cars. Nothing but microfiber touches my cars.
BTW, thanks for the picture!
-
I've seen many people complain about this. Would you be able to post a picture?
Thanks

But I doubt they would even consider applying that tsb because it does not apply to 13' models...come to think of it, there is play with my side view mirrors but the rest of the edges at both dealerships had a little play too...

Well, picked up the car today. They had some mater techs come in and lots of on site techs look at the car. Conclusion: Everyone that sits in the front passenger seat is crazy that hears the sound as no one from Ford can hear it. So, just have to ignore it and but that stereo system to use I guess! I appreciate all the work that had gone into that door though! 5 trips to the dealer to try getting it fixed. One interesting thing is that they order "sonic ears" that they are willing to put on my car to listen for noises (similar to suspension ears). So...after new weather stripping, door adjusted, door adjusted again, taken all weather stripping off and put back on, and lubed up the seals...still there, I hope me and all my friends arn't crazy!

It seems to me like Edges get a lot of noise complaints, haha.
-
They have the car right now, they took me home as I was waiting 5hrs....
-
Well, I'm here this morning getting my first service and seeing if they can do anything about the wind noise today....
-
post some pics of her lowered..
Please!
-
Welcome & congrats!
-
Waxed it. Tomorrow more cleaning...
-
That's crazy. It really does look like it was hit from the inside out too which is really strange. Todd does a good job of helping when he puts you I contact with your csm!
-
I already have. They showed me all their edges and even at another dealer and they are all the same, therefore they can't do anything about it since its normal....
-
Yeah I'll go in soon to complain about wind noise for the third time soon too...
-
Yeah man all these little things are killing me. You don't really notice much until you do a "deep" detail.
-
Yeah it's really spotty under the hood and the rolled lip of inside the door at the bottom. The lift gate also is spotty inside.

You should go back again and get, if any problems arise and they say it's because of the alignment you'll want to have proof showing them that it was their job. Mine is getting worse and worse so I'm going to bring it in everyday if I have to!
