I would like to revive this, we are at this issue again.  We replaced the full canister assembly and still have the smell.  (Ford part new) It only happens though if we let the nozzle fill and then click off.  We have tested this by only adding say 5-6 gallons of gas and not letting the nozzle do its thing upon full.  We get no smell when we put a limited amount in.  The smell is always back by the drivers side rear tire. 

I pulled the wheel well and could see evidence of the day initial over spill when using the nozzle at the station to do a complete fill.  But nothing wet on the filler neck. No codes or dash lights either.

Thoughts?

Been having this issue on my wife's 2013 Limited with 97K miles.  We don't, or should I say, no longer put more gas in after the first click.  Having said this, we replaced (with Ford Part) the full charcoal canister and solenoid assembly.  After replacement the car had 1/2 tank so we filled it up.

The first day after fill up, no smell so we thought we  were in the clear, but now 3 days later after driving, the garage is filled with the gas aroma again.  A physical review of the gas tank does not reveal any current or former leak. 

Thoughts or suggestions please?

Tagging on to this about a 2013 Limited Edge.  We gassed up yesterday and I noticed that the pump clicked off at 3/4 of a tank.  Got out and tried to add more, but kept clicking off.  Left the station and the gauge gradually and eventually went to a full tank, never has done this before so I wrote it off to just being cold out.

Today I went out and the garage smelled like gas.  Checked for codes, none found.  Car starts and runs fine.  No gas smell inside the car, only at or near the rear near the gas door area.   No black smoke on startup either. 

Late here, so I will jack it up tomorrow.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.  Car has 79K on it.

Could I ask for the successful instructions or directions to them to add mirror tilt in reverse on a 2013 Edge Limited?  Would it be a correct assumption that what is listed in post 4, works? and that you merely enable all of the below?  Thanks  Ed

If there were maybe 2 or 3 or 4 examples of this, I would buy it! This guy gave away $4K worth of rims for $800 bucks, he made a huge mistake. He must have really wanted to sell them or has more money than he needs!

Just putting this out there. I've been poking around here for a few months and noticed that people have sold whole sets for $500-$800. Maybe consider selling the wheel for less money if you can.

Because I looked around prior to replacing my wife's 2013, limited rims and could not find an unblemished set for that kind of money or any singles for that matter. Had they been available, I would have bought them instead of aftermarkets.
