  1. I had a set of spare wheels that I had a wheel repair center remove and then powder coated a BMW charcoal color on my 14 edge before it was totaled.  I have a complete set of 20" chrome clad sitting in my garage.  Memory serves, they are pretty clean.  I have been thinking of digging them out and taking pictures to sell.732265644_2019-11-2010_00_19.thumb.jpg.7a65c33260eb0fd69a0857ddd821fa4f.jpg

As long as everyone is ok is what's the most important… but look at it this way:  It's now the time to shop for a new Edge!! :)

    Claude. ;)

    P.S: What exactly happened?… :(

Well, not an Edge per-say....The wife insisted on an MKX.

  3. Other vehicle driver came around the exit ramp to fast and in my lane as I was taking the entrance ramp.  If I had not swerved, it would have been a head on collision instead of the side impact.

  4. Here lies my beloved Edge Limited.  She served well and had a great life.

  5. In my 2014 Limited AWD, I changed all 4 out after picking up a screw on the corner of the sidewall and was not repairable. 42,000 miles on the factory 20" Pirelli Scorpions. I replaced them with another set of Pirelli Scorpions. If it wasn't for that damn screw, I wouldn't have changed them. They were wearing beautifully. Nice even wear across the tread 5/32 Rear 6/32 Front after last tire rotation.

  6. Moved to Texas back in 1969 from Oklahoma. First thing I noticed about the "Texas wave", was that it was not done with only one finger, like so many other places. It's just a much friendler atmospher down here. Of course I'm considered a naturalized Texan now. And D*** proud of it.

Well, I am originally from Montana. As far as I can remember, it was and has been a custom of waving at every on coming vehicle. With more and more technology, more and more people are looking down rather than ahead.

  7. Thank you so much for posting pictures! It looks great, can hardly see it. Can you tell me where you go it done? A tint shop? A clear protector specialist? Dealership?

I had a tint shop here in Spring, TX do it. It was a kit that he ordered. He doesn't have the system to cut it the way I originally wanted it, but I am very happy with it. It has been used more times than I can count and I don't have any scratches to show for it in the paint. I have one scratch in the Front Pass kick panel from my GF's mut, but it did not reach the paint.

  8. I have the invisible bra on mine and they have an appearance package that does the hand cups, back bumper, kick panels. I will take some pictures and post them. After getting mine and opening the doors, there is so much paint there and I wanted to find something to cover it and protect it from heel dragging..also works good from hyper pets that try to jump into the vehicle.

Here are some pictures I took this morning at the office in the parking garage of the appearance package. I will get better ones once I detail the car this weekend.

  10. Welcome Redbow and congrats on the new ride.

I have been noticing Edge drivers way more around DFW! I waved to a lady on Saturday but she just thought I was weird. I have never owned a car where I felt a sense of camaraderie between owners. Very excited about this forum and that aspect of this car!

    Cailin,

I get the same response when I pass other Edges/MKX's.
