Looking to add a tow hitch to my 2012 Edge, but I am also thinking of replacing the lower bumper trim (black plastic part around exhaust tips), believe its part BT4Z17K835BPTM because its damaged. I noticed that the lower cover is available with or without a cutout for the tow hitch. Is that cutout only for the factory hitch assembly or do any aftermarket hitches use the cutout? Most of the Hitch's I have seen all go below the bumper. Thanks .

Dealership is replacing lid for me, seams crazy for ford to design it that way. Really all it should need is a $20 latch, the complete piece costs the about $270. Thanks again.

Looking for some info on the console lid latch for a 2012 edge. The latch is broken and dealer said they can not get just the latch. Does anyone have any info. Thanks.
