Yep, I ended up buying a set of 5000k and they work perfect. The projector lamps that come with the MKX make them look like a factory set of HID's. I had to ensure there was plenty of slack in the wiring because when the headlights would turn they would unplug themselves ! I was torn between 5000k and 6000k and I'm glad I chose the way I did. They 5k's have a nice little flicker of blue depending on what angle you look at them. Couldn't be happier. I bought them from retrosolutions ebay auctions. They are cheaper on his Ebay listings than they are in the group pricing listed on this site.

Can anyone confirm what the correct LED license plate bulb would be for a 2008 MKX ?

I just purchased a 2008 MKX a little over a week ago. Since driving off the lot with 8 miles on the odometer it pulls hard to the right. I took into the dealership and they verified that the alignment of the car was within specs. The regional rep got involved and called Ford Engineering and they said it's a known problem with MKX's that have 20 inch rims. We took another MKX off the lot for a comparison test ride and it too pulled to the right very bad. Car is currently at the dealership awaiting further information from Ford's Engineering team on how they can properly fix the problem. Has anyone else with an MKX encountered this ?

I've decided to order a set of 35W 5000K. I hope the MKX adaptive lights are H11's like the Edge.

No one's ever put HID's in the MKX ?

Has anyone fitted xenon's in the MKX with the adaptive lighting ? It appears the adaptive lights have projectors which is a step in the right direction.
