  1. That makes sense. But would there still be power going to the parking light wire constantly even if the signal is activated? I thought only one filament at a time would be on in the bulb, or with a LED switchback, only yellow or white is on, not both.
  2. I'm interested in this upgrade for my 2014 edge sport. Do I need the Canbus or the HD relay? I've tried researching but I'm not sure which I should go with. Thanks.
  3. When the signal is on does the power still go to the parking light filament? If not then the parking light would turn off when the signal is flashing. Might look odd.
  4. Great install video Dan. My Edge has the headlights on all the time (Canadian DRL). Obviously connecting the white trigger wire to the headlight won't work in this situation. Also, some Edge's have the signal light on as DRL so the signal trigger wires will not work properly in this scenario. Is it possible to show modified wiring to accommodate these scenarios in your video as well? Thanks.
  5. Great suggestion. Thanks. First I have to buy a set. Just wanted to make sure I'd be able to have them function as I want them too.
  6. Great, thanks for clarifying that, Wizard. So if the signal trigger wire is connected to the rear signal wire and the DRL dimmer trigger is connected to the middle front signal wire (ie the dimmer parking light wire) does that mean that the white part of Dan's DRL will work the same as the OEM courtesy light but also act as a bright DRL when all the lights are switched off?
  7. I live in Canada where the Edge has either headlights or the parking lights on for DRL at all times. If it's the parking lights, would that not allow fully automatic functioning of the new DRL's including courtesy lights?
