How do I check the oil pressure

Thanks for the response. I verified the oil level after I topped it off and then again earlier today. My oil level is good so I guess it might be the sensor or the pump. Is it dangerous to drive right now? It's our only mode of transportation. Any suggestions as to why the oil went low with no visible leaks?

I was driving my wife's 07 Edge SEL 3.5L v6 and the oil light came on. I checked the oil and it was low but I had just had the oil changed two months prior and there were no leaks. I put in 5 quarts of oil and unplugged the battery to reset the fault lights. It's been two days and the oil light is still on and when I do a system Check it says low oil pressure. Can anyone help.
