  1. I've heard (maybe just another persons personal experience) they they do come on if the outside temp is below a certain level. And...they come on at a very low level. Not the same level as when you manually turn them on. This is done as a safety feature so that they don't get too hot when the vehicle is unattended. It's more just meant to heat up quicker when you actually get into the car and are sitting on the seat.

  2. I did! Had them on about a week and I'm loving them! Can't say the ride is too much smoother, but it's sooooo much quieter. The grip feels good...had a lot of rain lately and the tires are performing great. Just feels good to know that I have some new tread for winter!

  3. I've always just used a hair drier. Unless it's been on there for a long time, that should do the trick. I'm always worried that a heat gun will melt the paint (I'm not familiar with using one). You'll always get a little residue, but something like goo gone (as previously mentions) takes it right off. Or, just ask your dealer to take it off...unless they are paying you to advertise, it shouldn't be put on the vehicle....being sarcastic of course. I just hate that they put those things on there!

  4. I have the same issue but it doesn't bother me THAT much....It just prompts me to pick a new color everytime it resets... :)

Perhaps a fix will come with the next MFT version upgrade but they want to work on a addressing more than one issue when they ready to roll it out, just a thought..

Finally, a voice of reason. Everyone gets so worked up about this issue. If Ford spent a bunch of time working on this issue, I'm sure everyone would be screaming about how they probably have bigger issues they should be working on.
